Honestly I'm not even sure who I'd give the game ball to. Feel like ISU's bigs are the unsung heros of the game even though it might not show up on the stat sheet. Was very impressed with BB and Pleta making things difficult for Purdue in the paint.
Even people who see us play don't realize how stacked this roster is

They had it on the screen. TJ has done it three times now. Otherwise, two times ever for MBB.
Once was North Carolina in a holiday tournament in his 1st or 2nd year. It doesn't matter, but UNC ended up being pretty average that year.
The other was Houston and they were legit, but probably a bit beat up.
After this huge win, I have faith that Coach TJ will have this team uber-focused come Thursday night!
The last five minutes of the first half and the first five of the second half when Jefferson was out with foul trouble - Heise was playing the 4 and absolutely took Kaufman Renn out of the game. That stretch in the second half put the game away.
Did you watch that game? I may need to find it - since there isn’t another good ball handler, I could see us blitzing him at mid court to get the ball out of his hands and then denying him the rest of the possession.
Toure was awesome today on Smith, especially on high screens. I love that he picked his pocket once too, I think he’s done that at least once every game.
Our role players fit in so much better this year, freshman are better than last year and all the returning players have improved especially Millan. A walk on played significant minutes in the tourney last year. That shouldn't be a problem this year.

We'lll deny his passing lanes and make him force things into traps, too. It will be a nightmare for him.
Rough day for the Big 10. Highly ranked Purdue, MSU, and Indiana all lost in out of conference games.
In a weird way...Thanks Matt Campbell for inspiring us to kick whoever's a** was in front of us today.
Not just minority but wrong. Toure has been incredible so far in his freshman year but Lipsey is one of the best in the country.
Key is going to be keeping everyone (Lipsey) healthy. Being able to ease his minutes with Toure is so unbelievably helpful.
It feels like Iowa could be a trap game. TJ seems to manage the team in a way that seems less risky but it happens.
