It is SO tempting to go back and find some early posts about him but we are way beyond that now.
If he made that pass and the dude hits the wide open three that place would have went crazy and I think it would knocked the lead down to 12? maybe.? Anyways I don't fault him for going for the style points.
After we beat Iowa next week, we will be in 1st place.

Tamin 100% threw the btb pass his next possession because smith put his on the bench
Braden Smith was decent, but he tried to be flashy and Tamin outplayed him. Also, Purdue whined a lot!
He’s starting to reach his potential that was evident so early and we’re so lucky we kept him. Legit 3 point shooters with that release point are not common outside of NBA basketball.

He’s a good college player but no exaggerating that we’ve had MANY recent point guards with significantly more upside/NBA potential. Kane, Monte, Toure, Lipsey and obviously Halliburton all have the pure point guard goods more than that kid CBS was trying to sell us as “the best ever”.
Don’t forget the shot clock beating fade away swishes.
I don't think trying to be flashy was his problem. He was too whiny to the refs and lost his composure.
To be fair they only scored 5 more points in the second half during a true road game against the #1 team in the country than they did in that first round game against 11-seed Pitt.
