How many turnovers did ISU have in the first half? I was listening on the radio and it sounded like about 10 or so. JJ had 4. I know Walters said Purdue had 11 points off turnovers at one point.

ISU ended with 12 and Purdue 13 points total off of them.

Looks like snagging Buchanan over Cluff worked out in our favor. Buchanan fits our O and D so much better. We need a 5 with bounce and will run the floor at all times, not a giant sloth.

Lipsey did Lipsey things. 9 pts, 8 assists, 5 rebounds and no turnovers.

Kaufman-Renn and Loyer were averaging a combined 31 ppg, they went 3-16 from the field, 1-5 from 3 and 2-6 from the FT line for a combined 9 points. Meanwhile Milan scored 20.

I’m not kidding when I say Cluff getting more money at Purdue is the biggest stroke of luck in Iowa State history. Got a better player in Buchanan and freed up enough money to keep JJ. Can’t imagine we could have done that with Cluff taking up two mill.

They already have some great wins like at Alabama. ISU is playing better than any team in the country right now. This is wild.

They beat Texas Tech by 30 on a neutral court too.

I don’t know what switch flipped at halftime of the Syracuse game, but the last 5 halves of basketball have been otherworldly.
