Matt Campbell to Penn State??

Not at the very end of the cycle when all ISUs best options are exhausted? And he’ll pilfer the roster and we will likely loose 1/2 or more of the recruiting class. Anyone who doesn’t see this as a 3 year blow to ISU football, a developmental program, is kidding themselves.
It wasnt his problem PSU struck out on options 1-43. He was option 44 and it is without question a better job.

Easy to talk about culture, attitude, and ethos until someone drops a bag at your feet.
Or a better opportunity to achieve the ultimate goal in your respected profession. He'd be an idiot not to take the job. Why the **** would he stay in Ames? To go 8-4 the rest of his life? He's turned down better jobs to stay in Ames. After 10 years it's only natural to want a new challenge. Especially when you realize you've probably maxed out at a certain place.

There's NO WAY he can be coaching in our bowl game... don't tell me JP would ever allow that BS!

No, that would be the worst decision Jamie would have made through this whole ******* process and it sounds like there were lots of bad decisions.

I'm curious if Campbell leaving the Jacobson building after the meeting with Jamie means anything.

Still don’t understand being mad at him. Everyone changes jobs. Coaches all use the same language, culture, trust the process, all of that. He’s a coach. They sell everyone that stuff. He took a higher paying better job. Something most of us would do in his situation.

People are allowed to feel what they want. Frankly, I don't understand why you wouldn't be mad about this. This has the potential to be a very detrimental thing for our football program. It's a big ******* deal and it sucks.

Good for him but I remember his comments about building something long term similar to
Bill Sneider. Hopefully TJ stays around long term.
