It wasnt his problem PSU struck out on options 1-43. He was option 44 and it is without question a better job.Not at the very end of the cycle when all ISUs best options are exhausted? And he’ll pilfer the roster and we will likely loose 1/2 or more of the recruiting class. Anyone who doesn’t see this as a 3 year blow to ISU football, a developmental program, is kidding themselves.
History.You posting history says otherwise
Or a better opportunity to achieve the ultimate goal in your respected profession. He'd be an idiot not to take the job. Why the **** would he stay in Ames? To go 8-4 the rest of his life? He's turned down better jobs to stay in Ames. After 10 years it's only natural to want a new challenge. Especially when you realize you've probably maxed out at a certain place.Easy to talk about culture, attitude, and ethos until someone drops a bag at your feet.
There's NO WAY he can be coaching in our bowl game... don't tell me JP would ever allow that BS!

I dont't disagree, nor do I fault him for taking it.Or a better opportunity to achieve the ultimate goal in your respected profession. He'd be an idiot not to take the job.
He made over $5M a year at ISU.Now that's a long and lonely walk right there. But worth it when you have millions!
Still don’t understand being mad at him. Everyone changes jobs. Coaches all use the same language, culture, trust the process, all of that. He’s a coach. They sell everyone that stuff. He took a higher paying better job. Something most of us would do in his situation.
He should have taken $5 million at PSU if that's the case. Money ALWAYS means something. He made over $5M a year at ISU.
If his personal pay package was in any way a factor the guy is a fool.
