This is conference championship weekend for CFB. There will be wall to wall gameday, pregame, halftime, and post-game shows for 12+ hours tomorrow. A Penn State hire would get talked about on every one of those shows all day long in front of millions of college football viewers. Now would be an ideal time to get an announcement out for maximum media exposure.

We are what we are, the only way we are going to get a really good coach to come here and stay is to get an older coach that has spent years working his way up as either a head coach at the lower levels or someone like Snyder at KSU that was approaching the point that its either now or never to be a head coach. The problem with getting another young guy is that you may be in the same situation 5 years from now, program has success and the bigger dogs come around sniffing.
