Why in the hell did we do that? If he had a big buyout, It would not have prevented him leaving, but sure in hell would have given us a huge leg up on money for a new coach.

$2M might as well be nothing at this point.

If it falls through for Penn State at this point, it would cap off probably the most embarrassing head coaching search in history. So I really doubt that's going to happen.
