I think if you're Matt Campbell and even 10% of the image you've portrayed the last 10 years is genuine, you absolutely sit down with university leadership face-to-face regardless of the decision you're making.

Even with jobs for us regular schmucks, a current boss you know and like vs a total unknown is a massive thing to consider for quality of life. Maybe PSU president and AD are wonderful or maybe they are arrogant jackoffs at an athletic program famous for being arrogant jackoffs.

This is exactly what A&M did when they were in the B12. A grass roots effort called the Century Club. I would wee the stickers on cars all over Houston.

Our university needs to go on a full court press with small and medium donors. I have hundreds friends that are ISU fans and the amount the give individually and collectively is extremely small. Especially those out of state that can't make it back for football and basketball games regularly.

I will admit myself I've probably not been giving (a) as much as I should and (b) an amount equivalent to how much I care emotionally about our programs. These are the fans and alumni that we need to start targeting more effectively?

Is it going to turn up another $10M+ a year? Probably not. But probably a couple of million which would help.

Oh no. He's meeting with the outgoing President that is retiring in a month. Maybe she's scheduling several meetings to talk with university officials thanking them for their service as SHE prepares to leave.

I work for a pos private equity firm but they pay decent and my direct supervisors are great to work for. My biggest fear is they will get tired of the ******** they somewhat insulate us from and quit.
