Totally would get it if CMC wants to leave, but I would at least hope we’d try to offer him a few more million if that would change his mind.

You don’t just have a skill/experience that not many people have and is absolutely crucial to college athletics for the foreseeable future and just leave it. The family time excuse is a perfect out there.

Yeah, I got a REAL BAD feeling about this one. It also makes sense if he ever does want a real shot at the OSU or ND job. I don't know how he would ever be a viable candidate for that job because the longer he stays in Ames, the more he's going to need to be successful to keep his stock up.
