We are heading down to the game this weekend and I was wondering if there is anything that's a must do in Stillwater? I know its a small college town but we have never been there before and figured I would check here to see what others have experienced.

Its been years since i've been there but Eskimo Joe's is a stop I remember

I don’t remember any names of anything. But their bar district was a fun time. Similar to ames, but better. It will probably be kinda slow because of thanksgiving and a terrible football team. But if you csn fogure out a way to tour gallagher iba which is attached , it is a cool building and they have a nice little hall of fame there.

Creighton will lose, but their super bowl is keeping it close enough to keep ISU out of the champ game/extra $1 mil.

We're really gonna need some help to get that with only 1 point win yesterday.

We're playing Creighton in Stillwater too? :jimlad:

It's basically Ames with about 40% more cowboy hats, and you can smoke in the bars.

If you think I'm saying that to put it down, I am not. Stillwater is a hoot. It'll probably be pretty slow because of Thanksgiving and them sucking, but hit the Strip. It's all just college bars with cheap booze, loud music, etc.

Stonewall is a really cool bar that's not on the Strip and is closer to Eskimo Joe's which is awesome. Those are close to the stadium. The Strip is walking distance, but not exactly the same.

Them and KSU are truly our brother/cousin fanbases.

Visit Boomer Lake and throw in a coin and make a wish for Mean Dean.

Go listen to some Red Dirt music on The Strip (Washington Street)

I see the Creek Howlers are live at the Salty Bronc Saloon on Saturday night.

The Giant Transformers look like fun. (just a photo op, looks like)

Looks like Granny's Kitchen is famous for its cinnamon rolls.

Too bad the Lost Creek Safari was sold. Damn! You could have gone to "interact with kangaroos". And made headlines the next day.

You must not have been a Math Major:
Bad Football team + Bar District = Drunk CFB Fans at Bar instead of at Game.
Been there and done that!
