Not a fan of 11am games and says a lot about how we are viewed now by TV after getting several 11am times recently. If we were playing for something right now would likely be selected for 2:30 or night games. Especially this time of the year 2:30 is usually during the peak high temp for the day too which is more ideal as well.

Yeah, but not in the way you're arguing. No one gives a **** about watching Oklahoma State right now. They've been on ESPN+ for the last few weeks.

They play us and all of a sudden it's a linear game in a visible spot. We've been a solid TV draw all year and we're playing a couple games that have no bearing on the Big 12 race in very visible time slots.

That is a rough-looking set of games to sell.

Agree that the OSU game is not a good but looking at this schedule before the season did you ever think that our home games against ASU and KU would be 11am kicks? Granted those 2 teams have not exactly lived up to expectations either like us but those sure looked like 2:30 or night games before we went on a losing skid.

The recent losses played a factor, but we’ve always been good for at least a couple 11 am games a year. We got spoiled last year.

honestly given the fact that Oklahoma State will most likely be 1-10 heading into this game, the fact that this game is even on linear tv is a miracle.

And we have done ourselves no favors. Losing four straight games and thus eliminating us from any Big 12 title game/CFP talk has removed us from the spotlight.

That said, we have just gone an entire season without being on ESPN+ once and that's a win in my book.

I personally don't mind 11 oclock games. A night game or two is fun but it got exhausting last year when seemingly every game was at night. Especially from Mid-October through the end of the season. Give me night games early and day games late.

The narrative on 11AM games is no longer true. Fox and ABC are using that window for some big games. It's all about the channel.
I like 1100 games. I am usually in bed on Friday nights at 2100 and up on Saturday mornings a 0500. 1100 games gives me more time at night to watch more games. Yes, I am an old SOB.
