Alright lets send the Seniors out with a win in their last Jack Trice Stadium game and end this 3-game losing streak against Kansas.

Depending on the sportsbook Iowa State is currently a 4 to 4.5 point favorite.

5 day out Weather Forecast: Partly Cloudy, High of 53 with around a 10 mph SW wind:

TV: 11:00 am on FS1

I’m going to be beyond pissed if we lose to Jalon Daniels. That would just top off the list of terrible QBs we’ve been beat by this season

Kansas ranks 52nd against the pass (207 ypg) and 100th against the rush (170 ypg). Great opportunity to lean on the o-line's strength in run blocking and keep the defense fresh against Jalon Daniels.
Plus the more you run the ball, the less you have to deal with dual-threat / RPO type stuff that has made the defense look lost.

Just for my own good and clarification on future situations, what was the explanation on this call out of bounds?

- I don't understand all the rules, but did he call out of bounds, dead-ball, because the defender touched him while out of bounds, so it wasn't reviewable?

Go Clones!

Once the play is killed, it can't be reviewed. That's why so many 50/50 plays are allowed to keep going. Replay can always go back and say "yes he was OB" but it can't do the opposite.

Hope they didn't change their offense with the week off and catch us completely off guard

The dropped passes, missed tackles, special teams weirdness, and doing things like lining up a TE under center weren't because of the opponents' QB.

The weather Saturday looks about as solid as can be for the last game of the year.

This may be true outside of ISU but it seems like opposing QBs do MUCH better against our defense the second time they see it. Anyone else feel this way or is it my imagination?

Letting Jeff Sims run for almost 300 yards has to count for something

Well sure but ISU still had plenty of chances to win that one so it didn't end there...and that also chalks up to missed tackles.

Weather aside, I am looking forward to this game. Kansas vs. ISU is my favorite Big 8 Football game. So, that being said, I have been to 5 ISU vs. KU games, and the Jayhawks lead (3-2) with the Cyclones winning in 2019 and 2020 and the Jayhawks winning in 1992, 1994 and 2023. Ironically, I am 4-1 in ISU vs. KU MBB games!
