ISU Bowl Projection

Even if our bowl destination sucks, ISU would only decline if they are so decimated by injuries that they can't safely field a team.

Reminder of the selection order for 2025. This is the last year of the current contracts, so maybe some new destinations starting in 2026.

2. San Antonio (Alamo)
3. Orlando (Pop-Tarts)
4. Houston (Texas)
5. Memphis (Liberty)
6. Phoenix (Rate)
7. Shreveport (Independence)
8. TBD (from ESPN's other pool of games)

Pac-12 Legacy** (UA, ASU, CU, Utah)
1. CFP
2. San Antonio (Alamo)
3. San Diego (Holiday)
4. Las Vegas
5. El Paso (Sun)
6. Los Angeles
7. TBD (from ESPN's other pool of games)

**also includes those who left for B1G (Oregon, Washington, USC, UCLA) and ACC (Cal, Stanford), as well as the remaining P-12 schools (WSU, OSU).

CBS’s writer has ISU in Phoenix for the “Rate Bowl” against Minnesota.

That sounds pretty good.

Jack Trice revenge game, in a warm location plus a chance to beat that douche canoe PJ Fleck? It’s better than Memphis at this point.

If I recall correctly Coach Campbell was already announced as the ISU coach when he lost to Coach Row-Your-Boat in the MAC title game.

Regardless, a chance for revenge there too.

I think you’re right, but every day I’m grateful that Pollard hired CMC over Fleck. CMC is a great representative of the university, the players like playing for him and he runs a clean program. Between Fleck being an arrogant **** and the whole Fleckbucks story, ISU dodged a huge bullet not hiring him.

So, Alamo Bowl against Arizona State . . . .
I know, we are probably a couple of rungs down the ladder

Toledo didn’t make the MAC title game, which was a good thing because Matt said he wouldn’t have interviewed anywhere had he had that championship to be preparing for.
