Most of the money is supposed to go to the organizations that are working the stand, now much of that we are never told. I tip sometimes, don't other times. it does feel funny that you want me to tip for you getting me a pretzel and a soda.

I got a Clone Cone last weekend at the Northwestern game, and the girl behind the counter said that the tips from that stand went to the bowling club. I'm hesitant to believe that, not because I think she was lying, but I don't trust Levy to distribute the full amount, or if any, of the electronic tips to the student organization.

I really don’t trust Levy at all. It would be easier, I would think to just set up a QR code where people can donate at the stand rather than trust Levy to do the right thing. Sure it adds a 2nd step and will probably decrease donations, but it at least adds some transparency and trust that the money goes to the groups it should go to and not into Levy’s pockets.
