I'm probably not the right guy for you to ask that. How exactly does a thread go well for someone?
Thanks I guess? It's always some dork named Ryan. Stfu Ryan.
Where am I wrong?
How exactly does a thread go well for someone?
I put thumbs up but you get it just fine.I'm probably not the right guy for you to ask that.
Would you rather be 6-2 with a loss to Iowa than 5-4 with the win?wins > weird internet opinions
Rather be 6-2 with a loss to Iowa. Would mean we have no more that 1 conference loss and still in the running for the title game. To me, all the of the Hawkeye fans that feel they need to wear Iowa gear to ISU games (home and away) give off little brother energy (don't forget about us!!).Would you rather be 6-2 with a loss to Iowa than 5-4 with the win?
Just make the field wider. We should ask the AD to move the stadium closer to the field next year. I can't believe no one has done that since '75.
Agree 100%. And there is always at least one.Rather be 6-2 with a loss to Iowa. Would mean we have no more that 1 conference loss and still in the running for the title game. Just trying to head off one of the excuses for why its louder there. We should ask the AD to move the stadium closer to the field next year. I can't believe no one has done that since '75.
I too have been yelled at to sit down.As much as I hate to, I agree with your points here. I grew up in eastern Iowa going to Iowa games. I'm now an ISU season ticket holder and have gone to almost every game for years now. The atmosphere at Kinnick feels like a football game. The atmosphere at Jack Trice doesn't except for rare moments throughout the games.
No one stands, no one cheers except for third and fourth down and then sit right back down after. I almost feel out of place making noise in my section because it feels like I am the only one that is and we've most certainly been yelled at to sit down by people behind us in the past. I want to be courteous to the people around me at any event I got to, but I'm sick of feeling like I'm not at a football game. The past few years I've tried moving my seats to different sections to see if they'd be more fun than my previous section and the answer is usually no, the experience is about the same where ever I went.
I get that this season has been a snooze fest with not much to cheer for, but the fans can definitely impact games and it seems like we choose not to.
I mean Hilton all day long. That one is easy.Cool....now do the Hilton vs CHA set up hotshot...

I mean, fans closer to the field and the angle of the stands absolutely impacts sound. I assume you've recorded the DB level of each for factual comparison? Weird being this was the first non-sellout this year.Just trying to head off one of the excuses for why its louder there.
