Beautiful pic! A thought I had this morning that I think is pretty enticing about this job - not many fans are going after CMC. Not many programs out there can have the expectations we had going into this year and still have faith in their leader. We'll turn it around.
This year it isn't happening.

Yep! Matt Campbell is a very good coach, and ISU has enjoyed the results for 10 years. Thing is even the best get stale sometimes, and they just have to figure it out - which I have no doubt he will do and hopefully give us an even better 10 year run after that! Having a long tenured coach is such a blessing at any school, especially at a school like ISU that has PTSD from coaches leaving for greener pastures (Majors, Bruce, Chizik). So, let's just enjoy the beautiful sunrise today and get on with the business of trying to win @ TCU!
Yeah…told a friend last night that if this were any number of other schools CMC would be in the hot seat. Not here though. He’s built a bunch of goodwill at a place where 6-7 wins has traditionally been considered a success.
It's also hard not to look at next year and think about how special it CAN be.
This offense returns everyone but two linemen. If Rocco can get his head right and we can be better about scoring 7 instead of being satisfied with 3, they should be elite on that side of the ball.

Last season and this season reminds me of 2020 and 2021. 2020 was great went to Fiesta bowl and won. Had core of that team back and had a disappointing season.
In both cases truth was last year and in 2020 the breaks went our way and this year and 2021 they didn't.

With what wide receivers? They need a huge upgrade at that position if they want anything close to a serviceable offense again.
I really enjoyed the walk with my pup this morning. Frost was on the ground, no wind, sun peeping through the horizon, and autumn leaves gently falling to ground. It was beautiful.

If we can pull an upset at TCU we have a shot at 8 regular season wins! That would be one of our better seasons! Damn we need a win!
