That came out of left field! Know nothing about the kid but love the scouting write up on 247. Undersized, but skilled, physical and smart. We've had some pretty good success with "unconventional" bigs in the past.
I would prefer if he was out of Tornado, Utah, but I'll take it

The offer list is pretty puzzling for a 4 star kid but either way looks like a good pickup.
St Mary's is one of they better programs in the country. So if they liked him probably means he has a solid skill set.

Before we all circle jerk about a 4 star doesn’t every international kid that’s at a prep school default to a 4 star in 247 rankings ?
Probably will get a ton of offers now that we got his commitment. Usually that is why someone is a 4 star with lower offers. One of the big dogs offer, then every big dog starts coming after them. Kind of like that receiver that just decommited from Iowa State.
Signing day for ‘26 is in like 3 weeks so odds aren’t likely at all

From what I have seen he just recently picked up basketball in the past couple of years being from New Zealend thus only mid major offers but rated as a top 100 player. Definitely a developmental player but high skill is there just needs to learn the game.
