NBA: *** 2025-26 NBA Thread ***

Ya. I don’t know how the league deals with him night in and night out. Only a matter of time until he is the best player in the league by a large margin. He may already be the best player by a narrow margin.

We won't truly know until he has a playoff run.

Some team is going to get really nasty with him defensively in a playoff series. If he can dominate through that the way say Joker does...yeah prepare to be dominated if he's healthy.

I don’t know if teams are going to be able to be physical with him. He’s got such a high center of gravity and a light physique that when you push him he moves a lot. He’s not a typical 7 footer that is anchored to the floor. Once he starts to get the star treatment he is going to shoot a lot of freethrowa and foul out entire front courts.

I'm thinking just harassing him (as only happens in playoffs) rather than actually having a chance at blocking a shot. Some of the guys who do the best on Joker are smaller pests who just rattle him mentally, not guys like Anthony Davis you'd think could actually match up physically. He's 5 inches shorter than Wemby but the way he shoots high release high arch 3 just flicking his wrist it's the same thing were the actual shot cannot be blocked.

KD's jumper where he releases it has also always been pretty impossible to block and it's more just harassing those situations and being annoying. It is like watching a stretched out Durant which is crazy because KD already looks like a stretched out player.

Pacers Thunder has been good.
Nesmith having a good one.
Just dont think there's enough bodies for the Pacers.

Legler is a basketball guru and I also like Jefferson on the broadcast but these two guys argue like two people who clearly don’t like each other. It seems really petty.

It’s two nights in a row of this poor man’s van gundy/mark jackson thing and it sucks. Thank god Mike Breen is there to keep it moving

Indy OKC rematch is as good as October NBA gets. Indy has 5 centers available and basically no healthy point guards. Could be OT.

I was cool with officiating this game until that last no call on Siakam getting mugged…credit OKC they ran down and got an easy bucket after he was on ground.

Feeling kind of like an “anybody but OKC” year for me. Incredibly close game then I guess in 2OT throw them a bone just because.

Gordon is 7/7 from 3 to start game 11/11 is the record Keegan Murray set last year. 4/4 in second half isn’t unthinkable.
