Creighton exhibition discussion (see post 178 for Jake's link)

this is all about the team trying things and seeing what we have yall. I get it but look for the individual things as opposed to the whole team thing. This game does not matter besides it being a tune up. The freshmen look great on defense, shooting still may not be there but this team is clearly missing a true pg to make things look normal on offense

Does the team look confident? Does it have a clearly identifiable identity similar to prior years such as hard-nosed defense?

JFC, I’m making observations on what I’m seeing. I didn’t shoot your dog
You’re making these statements in a glorified scrimmage at their place, with a true freshman point guard. It’s the first game that isn’t practice against our own guys. Calm the **** down.

Gonna be growing pains with a young back court, especially when Lipsey is out.

I need to be convinced that trying to force Milan to be a volume shooter and Jefferson to be a ball handler are good moves. There’s a difference between guys growing and improving, and trying to force things that aren’t part of their identity.
The problem is if they are not those things is this a top 40 team? Obviously still unknown but hurts our chances because banking on those things with Freshmen and role player transfers filling in gaps.
