Sam Houston's stadium is being rebuilt so they are playing their home games like 1 1/2 hours away but damn look at this number:

So does that mean that even friends and family didn’t bother showing up?

This game has been quite interesting so far. Miami just picked off.

After the Pop Tart game, I don’t care to see Miami win any game ever. Their fans are a special kind of stuck up asshats.
Personally, I have NEVER had a serious problem with an individual fan or a group of fans at a game, and I have been to a lot of games in a lot of places.

That being said, I went to the Jan. 2004 Orange Bowl a year after the Miami-Ohio State NC game in the Fiesta Bowl.

Looked like it was going to be a Miami vs. Ohio State rematch in the Orange Bowl, so a lot of Buckeyes bought tickets to the game ahead of time.

Football stuff happened that sent the Buckeyes to the Fiesta vs. K-State and Miami played FSU in the Orange Bowl instead.

To the Buckeye fans credit who had already bought tickets, they showed up, tailgated, and Buckeye flags were all over the damn place.

FSU fans either ignored them or had a beer with them. However, I wish I had a dollar for ever jagoff Hurricane fan mouthing off to the Buckeye fans.

Just a bizzaro night, but Miami fans in a game in the State of Florida are definitely unique! Unfortunately, FSU lost on yet another wide right.

In all fairness, SHSU is renovating their stadium and playing their games about 60 or 79 miles away.

That’s a reason for a 25% full stadium. When the attendance is slightly more than a 2-1 ratio of people on the field vs in the stands (for two instate teams), that’s another level.
