Well I see Murph is going to start Perkins and Vaughn tonight. Should have never been substituted last night. Like I said last night, last post.........hope Peralta is on point. I guess he can always throw Priester again since he was only in for 1 inning last night.

Yelich leading off.......Turang batting 4th? Murph keeps trying to fix what isn't broken. Tinker with stuff like it's a regular season series. I fear he has thrown water on their offensive momentum and we will end up in Milwaukee for game 5.
Agreed on the lineup stuff. Not sure what they're trying to do. Not a great start with the three run bottom of the first. Not gonna win with zero runs anyway but gotta lock down the defense now. Hopefully get one or two back now
You score at will first two games, have a day off then come back with a different lineup and order? Then do it again tonight. Why?
Have no idea anymore what Murph is thinking. You have the Cubs on the ropes and let them off. The reason of replacing a veteran like Hoskins on the roster who is clutch in post season with someone like Lockridge we were told was for situational baseball. Or......when needed. Like base running. Not to trot him straight from Nashville into Wrigley field as a starter for game 3 of the NLDS. This isn't a 4 game series against the Rockies Murph!
Bauer for Vaughn a head scratcher as well. However Bauer has been hitting and playing good in the field. Should have kept Hoskins so he could spell Vaughn and put Bauer in the outfield if you felt you needed to shuffle things. Which.......like I have said in previous posts, why the F would you even want to with the way they were putting up runs. This isn't everyone gets to play time. The pitching isn't there for that BS.
Better find their mojo fast tomorrow or just like after you shuffled things last year........you're done.

Going to say it again........you cannot treat these playoffs like they are just another regular season series. I don't know if Murph owes Counsel or what. Just head scratching why you would change your lineup, a lineup that is scoring runs. And they lose tomorrow......the series loss won't be because of pitching. You score 16 runs with the same lineup the first two games.......then change the lineup and have scored 3 in the last two games. No runs against the same pitcher you scored 9 on just 5 days earlier.

Murph is saying "get behind these guys". A....Murph, we have been behind the guys and you since April 1st. Right now it's you that is being questioned. Why change the line up? This isn't a arduous 6 month/162 game marathon. This is a 5 game, one off winner take all series. It's the best you have.....all game....EVERY GAME! You didn't do that.
The pitching is hurting.........everyone knows that. But that line up/order you had the first two games was clicking. Enough to make up for the pitching. Then, after a day off you change it all.....twice. You broke what was fixed. Now you are going to have to run a bullpen game, in the most important game of the season, without any momentum. And hope/pray the bats can come alive to make up for the pitching. Unbelievable!

I will say this, if it's the good Miz.......we are going to the NLCS. If it's that bad Miz.........hold on to your butts and hope they can score a lot of runs.

If true, either Murph thinks he is playing cat and mouse with Counsel............or he is out of his mind. Maybe he is going to use one pitcher per inning. I mean if you starting your closer, what's next? Ortiz going to throw a few pitches?
