***2026 ISU Volleyball Thread***

I thought we pretty much got overwhelmed with their size. Seems every team we face have several players who are 6'3 or taller and we simply lack that kind of size.

Yeah, it was interesting to note that in the KSU win, no one from ISU that played was taller than 6-0. That may have been a first for any CJL ISU team in conference play.

Jackson (6-4) and Wachholz (6-2) did play vs KU.
 
We’re in Hilton at ISU v West Virginia. Absolutely nothing to write home about. We’re down 20-11, and ISU just took its second timeout in less than a couple minutes. Too late, I think.
 
It looks like Ava Martin isn’t dressed and Hendricks-Walker is still out. Will we ever be fully healthy?
 
Well, we won the second 25-22. Tied one each.

That first set was terrible but CJL then inserted Duckworth and that move turned the match to ISU’s favor and 3 straight set wins.

Jackson also played really well tonight in addition to Duckworth. Had to win that match to ease the path to the NCAAs.

Duckworth was really good tonight and really did bring a whole different level and changed momentum. She looked like freshman and sophomore Maya.

Will be a decent test against Arizona at home on Thursday and a really tough test in Boulder Saturday.

I don’t love the Thursday/Saturday turnaround especially with travel in there.

We’ve already beat our conference win total from last with with 5. That Illinois win looks better and better and will hopefully pay off for the tourney.
 
In Hilton, vs Arizona tonight. Down 4-2 early.
