Injury Report for CU

In case no one has noticed, Daniel Jackson should be eligible for the “medical hardship” seventh year of legend and lore next year—if he decides he wants it.

After the 63 yarder vs SD, I was looking forward to a Konrardy 73 yarder in Boulder.
It would have been fun for him to go into Folsom Field and erase Mason Crosby's stadium record (only 60 yards).

Especially since Crosby single handedly beat Iowa State that day hitting 4 field goals (including 60 and 54 yards) while Joel Klatt and another CU QB couldn't seem to do anything but throw picks. Final score CU 19 - ISU 14.

We need our starting kicker back. We were inside the Cinci 25 four times and netted zero points on those trips. A competent kicker would have given us 12 more points and a victory.
But we also would of kicked a FG rather then go for it on 4th down on drives that eventually led to a TD and would have gone for an XP twice rather then go for two, so it all probably evened out.

IIRC, ISU missed 2 or 3 FG attempts in that game as well. Nightmare.

Good memory.

It is even worse than that though. ISU (Brian Jansen) missed field goals of 24 and 25 yards. So ISU had the ball at the 6 and got no points and again at the 8 and got no points.

In addition ISU twice fumbled at their own 20. And to add insult to injury they got an interception deep in Buffs territory and proceeded to fumble again this time at the Buffs 20, just to mix it up a little bit.

I think Jansen lost his job during that game because Shaggy kicked the PAT after ISU's final (4th quarter) TD.

The first ISU TD was a Cyclone pick 6 (Hobbs) so the Cyclone offense mustered a whopping 7 points on the day even though they outgained the Buffs both through the air (+105 yds) and on the ground (+23 yds).

Here's a curious one for you. If ESPN's stats are to be believed there were no penalties whistled on either team.

If Dre'Lon Miller for CU is out, wide receiver... Isn't that a huge loss for them? I thought he was like their best receiver maybe?

Yeah I was going to say they were pretty much point blank type of FGs.

It was an instant classic in all the wrong ways and only a prelude of the end of the season (Missouri).

For the love of God, no. I can’t read another “Daniel Jackson is finally healthy and ready to contribute” article only to see him not play again.

Imagine being so self centered that you put your own wants and needs ahead of those of a kid who is going to have long conversations with his doctors, coaches and family before he makes any decision.

Dude.

I’ll be honest, who the hell is Daniel Jackson?
