If there's anyone that can make an adjustment to this its Heacock though.
We also had Rocco running the ball late when the game was in hand. There were several questionable decisions towards the end of the game. What a freaking bummer though. Hopefully they both come back strong and come back for another year.

I was young, but as I recall back then the end of the season was right after the opening kickoff of the first game.

Yes but this is two injuries to the same position, which was also notably our shallowest position. Besides Rocco or Dom Orange this is easily the most devastating injury we could've gotten and we did
Agree, we should all out blitz and leave our new corners one on one all day.
The risk of it happening is the same as every play. The game was largely over in the third quarter, should no starters have been playing for a quarter and a half? The reward is game reps for a unit that is going to have to find some sort of cohesion in a hurry.
Risk is the same, reward is significantly lesser to eliminated completely. The first team CB needs more game reps? Give me a break
lets put them in flags instead of pads, then we can mitigate the risk altogether!

The players need reps together. I understand some people just make complaining their whole personality, but it’s ok that sometimes things just happen and we don’t have to assign blame for everything.
The defense is averaging 14.2 pts given up per game so far.
I understand the competition so far isn't probably as good as BYU, ASU, and TCU will be. But to say we need to score at least 40 a game and will finish 3-4 down this stretch is wild to me. Two teams in the entire Nation averaged more than 40 last year and one of them was a team (Miami) we beat.
Jontez is a great player but we have great leadership here to help us thru this.

I actually do agree that **** happens and not everything requires blame. This doesn’t fall into that category though, because many of us were calling for direct action to avoid this scenario prior to it happening.
