You dont have a great track record with player predictions friend....Hopefully we get Eddie Lemos back. Dog.
It seems like we have had regular injuries on the OL.True. And it's on the defensive side. The offensive side has somewhat avoided serious injuries (please don't jinx it)
I’m sure some people are going to feel differently, but if this happened on that friendly fire hit at the end of the Arizona game. It’s not just bad luck.It 100% is just bad luck. You really can’t control the type of season ending injuries we’ve seen in any way.
Agreed. Hopefully they will both be back next year and be ready for the draft. It’s a bummer cause our secondary was elite. Our safeties are still really good. And Bell is a stud, but the other CB spot is going to be an issue.
Gutted for Williams and Cooper. I really thought they were sure fire NFL draft picks in the near future
I would love to know why he was even in the game during garbage time. Particularly after you already lost one of your best DBs earlier in the week. It’s just inexcusable and was totally avoidable. This one has to fall squarely on the shoulders of the coaching staff.
We have another corner who's name is slipping my memory. Freshman I think? My opinion is to try and convert a lesser-used WR
Except he didn’t get hurt in the first quarter did he? It happened with like 5 minutes left in a game where the outcome was known. That’s as avoidable as it getsWhat would you be saying if he got hurt in the first quarter? Should have been a back up in for that specific play/series?
2022 it was running backs.Last year it was the LB's, this year its the DB's. Unreal.
Jontez had no business being in the game at that point.
They just want to blame someone to feel better.Or any other point for that matter?
I simply don't understand why anyone uses this narrative time and time again.
It's really weird.
Agreed. It is water under the bridge at this point. It sssssuccks and we may approach it differently in the future. Starting DBs are often left in late, when others have been subbed out as a safety valve.Or any other point for that matter?

This. The game was well in hand, and there are already injury concerns at the position.I would love to know why he was even in the game during garbage time. That’s a different conversation though. The original post was insinuating that we have some flaw in training/injury management.I’m sure some people are going to feel differently, but if this happened on that friendly fire hit at the end of the Arizona game. It’s not just bad luck.
If myself and many, many other uneducated fans are begging us to pull our starters at the end of that game, this could have been prevented
I can assure you that you weren’t the only one. I got a funny look from someone in the row in front of me when I asked why the starters were still in the game.This. The game was well in hand, and there are already injury concerns at the position.
I get it - no staff is perfect and it’s tough in real time. It’s still hard to look past how glaringly stupid it was to have some of the most important starters on the field - regardless of position - at that point of the game. I’m sure I wasn’t alone yelling at the tv about starters still being in even before the injury happened.
If you’re paying me $3-4 mill per year, and with designs on reaching the postseason, there’s no rationalizing this f*ck up. It’s not acceptable. Campbell didn’t have a good reason in the post-game either.
Or any other point for that matter?
