Not worried about the locker room with KOC in charge:
If it turns out JJ is a bust, with KOC there are few teams better positioned to recover quickly. I wanted to keep Jones, but Wentz is fine.
I have to admit, the thought of Jones balling out for the Vikings like he has been this season has crossed my mind.
Wentz having a career season would be the most Vikings **** ever.
I'm not predicting that, but how many times has a seemingly washed up guy had a good to great (but only one) season for the Vikes?
Off the top of my head you've got Jim McMahon, Randall Cunningham, Jeff George, Donovan McNabb, Gus Ferrotte, Brett Favre, Case Keenum, and Sam Darnold.

I feel like McNabb sucked. Not sure funky qb was too good either.

McNabb was pretty terrible. He only started 6 games, went 1-5, and then the Vikings released him and went to Ponder

They made him an offer, and from what Purple Daily said it wasn't significantly less than what Indy gave him. But he felt like he had a better opportunity to start with the Colts. And he was right.
Yeah, you’re right. I thought they cobbled their way into the playoffs with him.
That was when I lived in central Iowa, didn’t get every Vikings game, and wasn’t very dialed in
KOC is the QB whisperer, or at least it seems that way.
If Wentz does indeed keep playing past JJM's injury, I'd be more worried about getting Wentz through the entire season without injury.
He was drafted by the Vikings. The topic was quartbacks that were brought in later in their careers and had a single good season just to fall off almot immediately.
