Apparently MSU LB Matthews is going to be ok. They said his motor skills are all intact. Hopefully that means he has feeling in all extremities. Scary injury.

They already have 3 wins for the season, have to figure they are better than Minn, NW, UCLA, MSU and the squawks. The only game they do not have a chance to win is @Penn State and then maybe home to USC. Not sold on Maryland yet, they beat a poor Wisconsin team yesterday. Nebraska can get to 9 to 10 wins, if they figure it out.
Nebby has lacked discipline as a program for several years now. But they do have a lot of talent. Their schedule has some tough games the rest of the way out with @Maryland, v. USC, and @Penn St. I see them going 5-4 in conference play, that includes a win over Iowa. If we beat them in Lincoln they'd end up 4-5 in conference play, 7-5 overall.
I think #9 was too high but they're a good team. They won 10 games last year, beat a good South Carolina team in their bowl, and returned a ton of starters this year including 3rd year QB and entire OL. I'd have probably started them 15-20 somewhere to start the season instead of #12, that too seemed a bit high.

I don't even think of Utah as a P4 school, their fans apparently think they're a shoo-in for the Big 10. They continue to stink things up on the field, all hype, no results.
The rankings right now are just starting to work their way out. Even now it's hard to determine the better teams because so many teams have played nothing but cupcakes for the first three weeks are being compared to teams that have played a decent team or two. Right now the best three teams in the B12 look like ISU, TCU and TT, but until about the half way point in the season, it's all nothing but guess work for the majority of teams.
Don't know where this is coming from. They're going to be waiting a while, if at all.
If they were a great fit and added lots of value to b10, the Pac or Big 12 would’ve added them in the 80s or 90s. There’s no way they get a call over even Colorado, AZ or KU and those are long shots but next best adds outside of nd and acc.
I think Arizona state needs to be above Tcu and beats them Friday. It's close though
