JTown's was great! Had the Twisted BBQ Fries and the Freakin' Chicken. Both really good. Too much food for me. The place was packed when we got there around 8:30 pm, but we were promptly seated at one open table. There was live music which was really good, albeit pretty loud. Service was great, especially for how busy it was.
Very cordial and respectful in this Arkansas State forum. They don't expect much of a home crowd, so Cyclones that make the trip, cheer loud and turn it into a semi-home game!

Well, that is why ISU is ranked #14. They made the plays when needed. We didn't. That being said, most ASU fans Ive talked to feel much better about this team now. They played MUCH better in all phases. Those TE's you guys have...geeez. Talked to a lot of ISU fans before and during the game as many were sitting around us. Quite an impressive showing of fans.
I think even ISU fans think that holding call was bs after that offensive PI call, at least from the initial replays shown.
You didn’t see argue-ably the best TE. Your QB is a hell of an athlete.
I feel fortunate we were on the friendly end of a few of those penalties. Raynor is a heck of a player. Best of luck the rest of the way.
Which SEC team throws a bag at Raynor this offseason? Feels like an Auburn thing to do
A couple SEC tried last offseason and he turned them down. He's a starter here, maybe 2nd string in SEC.

Yeah that one was pretty weak. The one bad call I thought the big 12 crew made. Butch Jones even said as much and he ususally doesn't complain about officiating. He said he already filed a complaint with the Big 12 office. But otherwise I was VERY inmpressed with the tight ends. Those guys are legit. Great teams make the critical plays. ISU did that. Of course I will be keeping up and hope you don't mind if I stop in fromtime to time.
Hope you're right that you'll keep him. However if a team needs a quarterback I can see them coming for him. He's really good.

The holding call was a poor call and ASU fans have every right to be upset with that call. We know how that feels as we usually are the ones on the wrong side of the officials.
Good luck the rest of the season. Usually we don’t like bye weeks as it becomes a boring weekend. But after today, I think all of us are feeling grateful to somehow to find a win today and actually looking forward to having an off week.
I've always had a theory that a team's state of mind actually can reflect the feelings of their fans. Not always, but I've seen it too many times to dismiss it. It's natural the ups and downs, arrogance or chip on the shoulder is the same for players, coaches and fans.
USD fans felt they were going to very easily beat ISU despite it being a road game and really in the face of all logic. They got absolutely blasted.
Ark State fans here and on their own boards were very respectful and skeptical of their chances given some struggles and how ISU has looked, even with the game being at home and a heat wave forecasted. They played to win and honestly had some bad officiating breaks or who knows, the one holding call in particular was atrocious and there was also a horrible spot on third down but they picked up the conversion anyway. It was a up for grabs the entire second half.
