He looked like a CPU controlled player on a video game who just does inexplicable things on a couple of those plays.

I still don’t understand why ISU didn’t just run the ball down their throats the entire game. They could have scored on that defense almost at will with zero pass attempts on the afternoon.

Because we have new transfer/young WR’s that need run and chemistry with the QB. If all you ask him to do is handoff, you’re not using his skills to their full ability.
Now, the skill portion was lacking today. But as others have mentioned, this team looked physically and mentally fatigued, played a D- game, and still managed to win
That was completely the product of about 4 holds.
Yeah that was an impressive amount of holding on that play. I wasn’t even mad because I think almost everyone held someone.
He was not perfect but TE should have caught the INT and Sowell missed another catch that would have been first down. He hasn't had too many targets but seems to have missed as many as he caught unfortunately.
Not sure why they got fancy on two yard line when he took the sack, go right at them running or quick pass

Yea if you had to pick just one play that changed things it was the roughing the punter. We go down and score then maybe we get rolling a little more

4-0 after two of the weirdest road trips we’ll ever play in rainy Ireland and hotter-than-the-devil’s behind Arkansas. 2-0 against our biggest rivals. Rocco’s biggest problem last year (picks) much improved so far. 15-3 since start of last season. Bye week at the perfect time.

I still think Arkansas State did ISU a favor by not running it more.
We are still a slow and less athletic team but normally we play good team ball. They made us look bad today with their option offense. But we have played games like this against lesser teams and bounced back nicely.
