Great album but I prefer Crime of the Century. Both classics thoIt's a masterpiece, IMO
You make an interesting point. A lot of bands that went heavy on keyboards didn't age well. Supertramp was a keyboard band, but it didn't really date their sound. No cheesey-sounding synths, but more piano and bell sounds. The Hammond organ is obviously an old instrument, but its sound is pretty timeless.I didn’t care for their pop rock sound back then, but I have grown to appreciate them in the last few years. Keyboards have their place.
