I don’t think I’ve done a Friday OT since the Ireland trip, so this is retro!

For most of us who attended, I think the Ireland game is the furthest we’ve ever traveled for a game! For me prior to that, the furthest I have traveled was for the UNLV game the first time we went over there, circa 2004.

What is the furthest you have traveled for a game? What game/sport/team?

Miami Marlins game in 2012, Seattle Mariners game in 2017 and San Francisco Giants game at the old Candlestick park in 1977.

Lawrence, Kansas. Sadly that's it.

Although I did go to an ISU bball game at Baylor when I lived in Texas, but that was only a 1.5 hr drive from where I was living at the time.

I've gone to baseball games at Fenway (1400 miles) and at San Francisco (1800 miles). We almost went to New Zealand for the womens' World Cup, but a few medical issues got in the way. I plan to hit England for an Arsenal match in the next few years

My dad and I went to the Iowa State - Oregon State in Corvallis, and that was so much fun. Their arena is smaller, but really cool.

I did go watch a home game for the German soccer team that I support, but I was studying in Germany, so that was only about 400 miles

Austin for men's BB, last yr they were in the conference wanted to see their tiny but very nice BB arena. They did do concessions very well.

For ISU, the farthest I’ve traveled is Houston (2005 Houston Bowl vs TCU).

In general the farthest away I’ve been for a sporting event is Seattle for a Mariners / Twins game.

It's either Cincy for a Reds game or Denver for a Rockies game. Not sure which one is farther.
