This thread just reaffirms my rule of making healthy eating choices when away from home territory.
Sad as though it is, everyone needs to have a “No fly list”. Most often this is learned / earned from experience.

Mine includes Outback (like @Jeremy mentioned produces similar results). FWIW, in open country, a felled tree can double as an effective toilet seat. In the spirit of being prepared, my wife made a habit of having TP in the car and the part of the country we were in was remote enough that others would notice or see you (honestly if they did, in the moment I wouldn’t of cared - when you have to go, everything else is secondary).

Outback’s food is generally good for a chain and I like it……it just doesn’t like me back.

Other “no flys” - most major fast food burger joints, and Taco Bell.

Throw Cracker Barrel on the list for me. That stuff runs through me like **** through a goose.

We'd take interview candidates to breakfast, and it was always Cracker Barrel. Good thing they plant was only a 5 minute drive away so I could get the candidate there and their first interview with enough time to hit the head afterwards.

While still in the hospital today, they prepped for an angiogram. They did the primary wrist site but also have to do the groin.

The lady shaved both sides and left a Mohawk down the middle. I get down there and the dr says, hmm, that’s the most stylish groin I’ve ever seen. I had to ask questions because I hadn’t seen what she had done.
Just found out it’s also died orange from iodine so spiked orange Mohawk for the win.

So are you doing better today? Did they let you go home? Does the wife like the new look, that's all that counts.

Released, trying to settle in at home. Can’t use right fingers, hand, or arm for 5 days due to some extra opening getting the scope thing in for the angiogram. I have apts and more test this next week as well as 3 new heart meds. Likely a TIA Stroke first (I’ve had 2 before so I knew the feeling) followed up by two heart attach or attach like events (accompanied by 212/145 blood pressure). Will know more with cardiologists again this week.

Thanks for asking.

Hubs got carted away from the last FB game after he had a stroke. Quick treatment and he's nearly normal now. They haven't figured out what caused the stroke, so they're looking for Afib. He's never had any heart issues but is now the proud owner of a loop recorder implanted over his heart. Yay?
MGMC is a great place. Hoping your recovery is swift!

When I was 19, I was working night shift at a factory in Clarion. One night I woke up late and so I just threw on a pair of basketball shorts (with nothing underneath) and a t-shirt. Halfway through the night, I was packing some boxes and my shorts fell all the way down around my ankles. A group of older women saw EVERYTHING. I almost never get embarrassed, but damn... I turned bright red.

Okay, I gotta ask. If they went in through your arm for the angio, why did they shave your junk? Just a little welcome present?

It’s backup in the event they hit obstacles, that way you’re already prepped.
