For the older group in here, is there a decade (30s, 40s, etc) that went by in a blur? I'm not necessarily referring to anything drug-induced, but more in a passage of time sorta way.

Although, I welcome a good story about a decade lost to something drug-induced as well.
This will sound cliche but all of them.
I'll be 65 this year and I can remember stuff from 40-50 years ago like it was yesterday. Life is short. It really really is.

Totally agree! I’m 66 and life has flown by. But now I’m sitting at a pool in South Florida for 6 weeks waiting for winter to get over in Iowa. So there’s that to look forward to!

Yea, I've gotten AARP and social security email for years, before being eligible.
I actually got an AARP mailer when I was 29. (Also got one the other day and I'm still a ways from being eligible.) Still convinced somewhere my age got put in as 59 or something in some database back in the day.

Would someone under the age of 20 know what a message board is?

Definitely some work by CF to reach that crucial under 18 crowd. Might need to add some gamification or integrate something like Fortnite into threads.

I do laugh at generational differences for communicating. I can send my niece (she lives in an apartment) something USPS and have to send her a text to make sure she checks her mailbox!! As a person in their late 50's, checking my USPS mailbox is something I still do every day. Makes me feel ancient. :)

I’d call ******** on the 2 80+ year olds but they probably don’t know how to reply to a thread to defend themselves
I've seen people on other boards I go to claim to be pushing that age. To be fair, one is a baseball board, so I totally believe that.

I'm 42 but have mobility of 80. Maybe that's how they are justifying that. :)

Holy ****, with all the gameday threads and contests you run I thought you were like 25. I guess I joined in 2009 and remember those threads all the way back then so I should have known better.

Edit: I'm 33 and its a minor miracle if I make it past 11 on a weeknight, not sure how you do it at 42 to make midnight for game threads. Good on ya man.
