WWE WrestleMania 37 Weekend Thread

I don't mind them cutting Strowman; his character never seemed to really mesh with people.
I enjoyed watching Black; he had some solid moves.
I've went back and forth with Murphy. He has been pretty entertaining, but always seems to be a sidekick.
Lana was bound to happen eventually. Surprised she lasted this long.
I like the Riot Squad, but they don't get matched very well and take it on the chin a lot. Surprised it's only Ruby and not Liv too.

Black Mass is one of the better finishers in wrestling IMO. Aleister Black/Tommy End will probably be very successful at his next stop. I'm guessing it'll be AEW.

Strowman always bored me, but I'm still surprised that they cut him. Vince loves those kind of guys.

Problem is right now WWE is full of big guys.

Viking Raiders are another act I wouldn't mind see go away.

Which, honestly, is quite sad. The gimmick can work and they are pretty athletic. They were solid early when they came to WWE. The whole deal with them and the Steet Profits is where they started to lose me.

Some of the talent right now, it's the exact same routine every time they are in the ring. Maybe that's a covid deal with not having house shows and being able to try stuff. But for wrestlers that aren't very creative, it gets stale.

Just saw some rumors that there are 4 more cuts coming: liv, Garza, Humbert and most crazy one yet the other name mentioned was Keith lee

I've been following some stuff with Keith Lee and it's been real weird. Is it just me or did his mic skills become thrown off in WWE compared to NXT? Like a weird way he was taking, longer pauses, that sort of thing. He didn't seem as sharp with WWE compared to NXT.

Garza doesn't bother me, but Humberto was fun to watch. They are really cutting down the roster. Maybe they will bring people back once they get back to having off-tv in-house shows again?

The word going around is all these cuts are to make a potential sale to Comcast/NBC-Universal/"whatever they're calling it now" more appealing.

Lee caught covid and that sidelined him for awhile. Not sure what his current health status is.

12 minutes in and I haven't gotten to the first match yet, based on pure lag. And refreshing the feed does absolutely nothing.

MSK (c) and Bronson Reed (c) vs Legado del Fantasma in a winner takes all tag team match for the NXT Tag Team and North American titles.

Apparently MSK and Bronson Reed retained. I didn't get to see it because the lag was so bad. I restarted the Peacock app and it appears to be doing better now, so I'll keep watching for now.
