WWE WrestleMania 37 Weekend Thread

It's amazing what listening to the fans and letting guys have a little creative control regarding their character can do for a promotion instead a old curmudgeon who is completely out of touch trying to jam his outdated ideas down the fans throats.

Well, that's because that mid-70s man thinks he knows what the fans want better than the fans themselves. Doesn't help that WWE fans to this day still pop for Goldberg, which empowers this mentality.

Kevin Owens’ contract is up in February. Going to be interesting to see if he still wants to retire in WWE now that a lot of his friends have gone to a company that may not have existed when he first made that statement - especially now that his role in WWE is cracking jokes at heels and falling off things.

I have been watching AEW lately and they are killing it, but there is going to be a reckoning before long. Eventually they are going to run out of room/time for everyone they have. Some people are going to get squeezed out. For instance All Out was a fantastic PPV but it was missing Adam Page, Orange Cassidy, FTR, The Dark Order, Andrade and PAC just to name a few. They tell fantastic stories.

There is no reason you have to choose a side. Hopefully this is a long over due wake up for WWE and we get 2 successful brands and everybody wins.

America's Top Team might easily be my least favorite thing about AEW (or any promotion, for that matter). While I think they helped push Bobby Lashley to the top heel while he was still in TNA, their front man is so freaking annoying, and not in the "it's what a good heel says" kind of way. He's actually really painful to listen to.

I guess I'll be tuning in to see what kind of dumpster fire this newly rebranded and VinnieMac controlled NXT 2.0 is going to become.
