Wrestle Offs

Mackall wins 3-1. Nice end of period takedown in the second, in deep a couple other times. Cabanban is a good backup to have.

Parker wins by tech fall over Todd Small. Small got the first takedown then it was Ian the rest of the way. Todd Small didn't look bad, Ian just looked really really tough. Expect big things from Ian this year

LOL It's like Ian said ok that first TD was cute, now I'm gonna work the hell out of you.

Kysen Terukina over Reeves 5-3. Kysen has some of the same slick moves Shayden had back when he wrestled at Iowa State. Excited to see how he progresses under this staff

David wins 17-3 over Carter Schmidt. Looked like David was working on top moves and trying to see what worked. Good fight from Schmidt

Bastida over Fisher 9-1 with over 4 minutes of riding time. Bastida is lightning quick from neutral and shows a TON of potential. Lot better rider than I expected too, but got high a couple times where a more experienced/ranked guy would take advantage. He chose neutral in the second, so didn't get to see him from bottom which is still a concern for me, but overall he was impressive.

Degen wins 7-6 over Robinson. Couple of great scrambles in there. Robinson is going to be a very good 149 once Degen's career is over

Redding with the upset over Ramazan 4-3 in TB1. Relatively boring match, neither guy really opened up. Both guys are solid, but hoping Small or Gomez can take over at 133 at some point

Coleman with a dominant 16-2 win over Hunter Dejong. He certainly looks like a 197 pounder. Hit the weights hard this offseason. Marcus will wrestle off Yonger at a later date, but looks like we have 2 really good options there.
