Bockman tech Runner 18-3. When he opens it up, he’s good
And, Kyven just apparently popped over to say hi and is on the call now. Lol.
Bockman beat Yonger for 5th at 2023 Big 12s. Yonger beat him earlier on the front side.
When Carroll goes, he’s hard to stop. Need to keep getting the okie state mentality out of him and get him to a place where he’s willing to let it fly.
First time down to weight for a lot of these guys too, not sure if he had a tough cut or not but wrestle offs are usually hard to take much out of
Bartelt 15-7 over Hagerty. I think Bartelt looks like he could be a really good 184
4-1 Grice with a takedown in the last 10 seconds. High level wrestling from both guys at 125. Feel really good about that weight no matter who goes this year
They said on the call that it was 5 lb allowance today.
Most impressive guy to me today was Diversent, I also was impressed with both Meza and Grice.
Meza looks big for 25, Grice could get to a leg at will, he’s very quick… but Meza tough to score on. 125 should be solid regardless of who wins it.
Rojas looked tough and put together physically, as did Bockman looks like he should compete well at 184.
Carroll match was kind of ho-hum, I expect a tough match with Bartelt (he was 2nd most impressive guy to me today).
