We just lost in OT on the road to a tourney team (with one of the best coaches) on a 35-foot banked in prayer and all anyone here can talk about is how they want the coach fired.

it’s ******* ridiculous
One of the best coaches? Do you mean like one of the best coaches in Ft. Worth? There’s like at least 3 better than Dixon in the state of Texas alone. Again, you fail so hard at the big picture. You will say on Wednesday, “you guys seriously want coach fired for losing at home to Kansas?” It’s unfortunately been way more than just the current loss.

TCU is the 8th best team in the Big 12. They won’t even make the NIT much less the NCAA tournament. The firing the coach stuff gets old and the effort was much better but that opponent we just played is no better than 16-15 this year.

You think this place is bad now. Wait until we are 10-12 at best after the road trip to Morgantown on February 5th. It will be toxic as hell around here. But honestly two losing seasons in the last three years should not be tolerated given where this program was.

We do remember that TCU was picked last in the conference right? They're probably better than us and K-State but that doesn't make them good.Feels like we always have someone insisting that whoever we lose to isn't a bad lose because they're really good, even if that team is obviously not good

You're acting like this is the result of one game. Or even two games.

Barring an absolute miracle, this team is set to miss the tournament for the second time in 3 seasons (and we know this by january!), with a mediocre season in between. Considering the state of the program when Prohm took over, that is unacceptable on its own. Then you look forward and see that with the likely exit of Halliburton we likely won't be much better next year and you see the writing on the wall that Prohm's tenure has an expiration date. So at that point it is a valid question to ask if it is better to just pull the ripcord. Were it not for his buyout, i think the answer would be unequivocally yes at this point.

Was it the sweet 16 that turned you off? The most wins over top 10 teams that pisses you off? The road wins? The conference tourney titles that chap your hide?
The sweet 16 with all of Fred’s players in year one where they beat nobody to get there then got handled by Virginia once they got there? Most wins vs top 10? Why does he follow that with some of the most embarrassing historic losses this program has ever seen the last few years? Wayne Morgan was more consistent than this, why did we ever let him go?

Guessing it's a lot more to do with the losing Big 12 record, having the locker room turning on each other last year, and missing the tournament for 2 of the last 3 years with another likely miss next season. Oh, and letting our biggest rival run us at home a following that up with another home loss to one of the worst D1 teams in the country. Weird what happens when you take away Fred's players from Prohm.

I honestly think KSU will finish above TCU.

We would've gotten beaten by Purdue had they not been upset. Change my mind.

Im guessing it is probably the Milwaukee loss, the 45 point outing against Tennessee, the loss to Florida AM, the five consecutive losses to TCU, the 43-36 record over the last 2.5 years and the 13-24 record in conference during that same period.

He has had some great moments but I would argue that what is maddening about these squads is the peaks are as good as the Hoiberg highs and the valleys are lower than McDermott.

Hold on now. You’re saying “tourney team” as in “last year”...not “this year”...right? Or do you believe the TCU team we played tonight is going to the tournament “this” year?

Just want to make sure I’m on the same page here.
