149 not getting to at least the BR would be a massive disappointment. Weak weight and either a healthy Degen or a built up Parker needs to AA this year.

I agree. If he could have beaten Parker, I would have thought he would have moved up in weight sooner and possibly still be in Ames.
I’m a big fan of Gomez, but he’s going to be round as a bowling ball at 49.
I have nothing against Gomez but how in good faith can you have that take? There are some SERIOUS variables that have yet to be solved.
My crystal ball for Iowa state, because why not:

For the hell of it, I'll put on my Cardinal-colored blinders and gaze into an extremely idealistic Golden crystal ball.
Here, I ideally see Parker going 141 which he mentioned was possible in his Sept. Flo interview.
Also, I see a leaned-out Devine finding his footing at 174. I've seen him around campus looking pretty lean and mean.
Lastly, I see our freestyle boys, Ramazan and Bastida, putting together the folkstyle puzzle and breaking out.
Redshirt Redding. That kid will be a bruiser once he's allowed to actually eat and move up in weight. Plus he'd have Parker, Suriano, and Colon knocking him around while he develops into our future at 141.
125 - Suriano - Champ

I don't know where that puts us team wise. There are just SOOO many variables still to fall into place. And we know injuries will likely play a part like they always do. I just hope they don't bite Parker, Degen or Coleman while they give it one last ride.
