Will the 49ers take LJ?

This is starting to feel like it did with Collin Franklin last year. We all thought 5th round and he didn't go at all.

I agree. But you'd think a good B12 CB would have a much higher chance of getting drafted than a good B12 TE

I know. A Big 12 corner who is pretty good should be taken in the NFL Draft.

Especially after a guy like Brandon Flowers runs a 4.56, drops a few spots, and then becomes one of the best corners in the NFL. Now, 0.15s is a ton in the 40, but considering LJ's success against some of the top QBs, WRs, in college, you'd think he be drafted by now. But what do I know.

Maybe some of these front offices didn't like the excuse that he was slow because he was sick. They're probably "no excuses" type people whether they're legit or not.

Bears take 43rd best CB according to draftcountdown.com with the 15th best CB (LJ) still available.

A CB with a 47.0 rating goes ahead of LJ with a 72?
Quite a few organizations are not good at this draft-thing. Hopefully, one that is traditionally good (Steelers - I am a fan, but not doubting they are one of the org's that are very good at the draft) will jump knowing what kind of player LJ is & not going by the underwear-olympics only.

Sucks going in the late rounds, but in a way it may be better to go late but go to a very good team that is also a very good fit (schematically)

Have these teams drafting CBs forgotten Leonard Johnson is still available?

Evidently these teams think LJ has a very low ceiling.

well he's already been shutting down NFL type recievers (Blackmon, wright, broyles, mcnutt) for 4 years how much higher do they need it to be. these other guys might have higher "ceilings" but with them it's like polishing a turd as compared to a semi finished piece of marble, sure one might improve more but who wants **** when there's marble there
