Wife's Christmas Present

Is she a Starbucks fan? Maybe a nice espresso machine? (We got one when Covid started, it's awesome)
Does she need a new purse?
Have you done family photos recently?
What about a mani/pedi?
Get her vehicle detailed?

A HUGE commitment: do you have a pet/do you like pets?
A year after the last of us was out of the house we got our parents a dog and they were shocked and didn't want it. That dog became their everything over the years.

After 30 years I'm out of ideas. As the saying goes, we both have everything we want or need. Our two girls are grown, on their own, and they'll get her several impactful gifts.
I need creativity. So out of desperation and possibly exposing the matter to rude and cruse ideas I'll open the discussion. And maybe some of you will get an idea out of it as well.
Technology, done. Jewelry, done a long time ago. Home help, done. Spa stuff, done. Clothes and winter warmy stuff, done. Sex toys, she has me.
Ready, set, go!
Check out her Amazon wish list

5 dogs, 1 remains. One of the daughters. 3 cats, 1 remains, the other daughters. We'd like to let nature take its course eventually and be pet free.

I like the getaway idea to see a Broadway type show plus fine dining. We've been to New York twice. What would be some Midwest destinations for this? Not St Louis as we live near there. KC? Chicago? Nashville?
Thanks!

Chicago would be my top pick. Minneapolis....I'd even toss Madison in pending what our Overture schedule is this spring. American Players Theater is very popular in summer and has a Frank Lloyd house nearby.Taliesan or something like that.

- Give a nice gift in her name to her favorite cause or charity (no, not the Human Fund).

- Take her for a limo ride. Enjoy a very nice bottle of wine (like some Veuve Cliquot) during the ride. Be sure to go past all her friends' houses and have the driver honk at the good houses.

- Book her a private getaway at a nice Air BnB or VRBO. Exotic helps, but you could also do a smalltown gig like in Decorah or Pella, or some fun smaller town.

- Tell the world that you love her on the Hilton Videoboard (probably should be sure you have tix to that particular game) https://www.cyclonesmarketing.org/VideoboardMessages.aspx

- Book her a professional photo shoot (if she's into that kind of thing)

- Book her an adventure, if she likes that type of thing, like driving hot laps at a race track (w or w/out professional driver) Used to be able to do that at Knoxville during the temperate months...don't know if it's still available

- Ask her what she wants, what she really, really wants, and if she tells you, do it or the closest thing to it that you can

- Give us all a mailing address and we will each send her a nice card that says "Hey, Mrs. Fall of 81, do you know how much your hubster loves you? Enough to ask all of Cyclone Nation to send you a card!"

Like any water or just the tap water?

Bottled water is okay if you know it is sealed. DO NOT DRINK THE TAP WATER...unless...if you're in one of those unlimited alcohol rooms, drink a glass of vodka immediately if you accidentally pass your toothbrush under the faucet without thinking. Saved a life. I am a witness.

We don’t exchange gifts. Feel that we are buying each other stuff that the other doesn’t really want because my wife buys whatever she want and I hate spending money and am happy with what I have and would rather save money than have it spent on me. Buy a card and call it good.

Jesus, you could very well be my doppelganger.

Wouldn’t the vodka have to be basically ever clear? I remember during the Covid run, they said that only 90% alcohol would kill germs. Most is 40% or so.

I'm sure the stronger the better, but of the vodka, gin, and rum dispensers, vodka was the antisepticsky of choice. As I say, I am a witness.

That's the story. Had the same damned thing happen in Mexico City (automatic wet the toothbrush without thinking) and got turista for an entire month. Lost 16 lbs before I got back home.

P.S. Mexican Pepto Bismol tastes like black licorice.
