Couple of things we may want to consider before making this comparison guys.... Hindsight is always 20/20

2009 was Rhoads best team at ISU which included 4 NFL players in Knott, Klein, L. Johnson, and Osemele. Note that 3 of those guys were on the defensive side of the ball.

Meanwhile, NDSU didn't even make their conference playoffs in 2009 (they had just become eligible in 2008). Since that time NDSU has had quite an impressive run of success, albeit in a lesser conference, while ISU has been mediocre at best. While lakesbison is still being pretty optimistic I'd say his prediction is quite a bit more favorable this year.
1. Knott and Klein barely played in 2009
2. While wins wise 2009 was the best under Rhoads, that team wasn't very good in the first couple weeks.
3. NDSU might not make the playoffs this year either. Going to be tough replacing an entire coaching staff to go along with 17 of 22 starters.

52 Arndt, Michael LT 6-6 315 Jr.
76 Buckman, Keith LG 6-5 320 Sr.
63 Richard, Austin C 6-2 319 So.
65 Foster, Ryan RG 6-2 304 Sr.
75 Ebel, Gerry RT 6-6 316 Sr.

NDSU will bring OLD TIME TOUGH GUY football and dominate the trenches, and that's why I think NDSU will win.

I know I know, you guys will trash this thread trying to belittle NDSU, but I know if these guys perform and our QB and RB's explode, NDSU will win.

12 days!!
I know if our offensive line performs and our Qback and running backs explode ISU will win!

Is this even the same school? In 2009 we played the Bison. I think this team is called the Biso Nation or something like that.

Why is this thread so long, if you guys didn't respond to him he would go away.
Probably because this thread has been going since 2009.

And thats false, Lakes will continue to post no matter if anybody replies or not. Its lakes freakin bizon, not some amateur poster. He's a legend on the internets.

In my mind, this game is the chance to make right what happened against UNI last year. Pride alone should insure a dominating win - it probably won't - but it should.
