Why I hate Parents Weekend

I have a hard time seeing when seated, so I stand a lot.

I only leave for the bathroom or to get something to drink. Otherwise, I don't leave.

Agree for the most part with this. To reiterate, we should be up more than down, and loud for the team. But if you are the only one standing, then it is a matter of being aware of your situation. I have a 10 and a 12 year old at the game and when someone keeps standing they cannot see the game and may not even want to come again.

Againn, it is a balance. Those who just sit all the time need to be up some. And those standing (all the time) who are having a negative impact on others, need to think about it a bit.

Balance people.

And the person that complains about people actually standing at a FOOTBALL GAME- and not the whole game are called what ??? Wow- "jerk" is kinda harsh again for giving a factual response to complainers. Just my thoughts on that.

Yes, its a football game. And there are seats there for a reason.
 
They are not jerks, but are going to be perceived as such when someone who cannot see makes a request trying to get it solved and they get no response in trying to accomodate.

Hmmmm.. lets see... I believe in fooball it's often said by coaches to forget about it.... forget about a "bad down" Have a short memory.. let's play the next down at hand.... "It gets old" to cheer ? WOW- that in itself says a lot.... a lot toward the thread.

Kinda like the fumble we recovered in the endzone in the first game after a a big play by the Bison.... I WAS STANDING and CHEERING after the big run to the goal line... actually saying "forget about it" LET'S GO ! Wasn't "tired" - was cheering for a new down... new opportunity ! HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE- never quit and never leave early win or lose !

Ahh but according to some, you should stay home (but keep donating) and watch tv. And, you need to sit, stand, stay, leave according to others beliefs, or you are not a true fan.

Sad, are we sure we won yesterday!! These usually only come out after a major loss.

You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties you want me STANDING and CHEERING, you need me STANDING and CHEERING. We use words like GO, FIGHT, DEFENSE. We use them as the backbone of being a FANATIC trying to defend something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to FANS who rise and sleep under the blanket of the very FANATISM I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest that you pick up a TOWEL and stand AND CHEER.

I'm in section 20 as well and was thrilled to death that we were able to sit the majority of the game.
