Why do people bash certain sports?

There are fans of the NBA? I assumed the people I see at the games were paid extras. I mean seriously, I enjoy basketball, but the NBA?

See? Nothing.

There have to be other fans out there, the NBA brings in a ton of cash. But defending our like of it? Ehh. whatever.

Well, people might "bash" soccer, but the Mayor of Toronto wants to arrest people who participate in my sport of choice, shooting.

He recently referred to members at a Toronto shooting range (to include a few Canadian Olympic Team Members) as "allegedly legal" shooters....

Here is a sport to literally bash:

Saturday night CBS will show Ultimate Fighting with a couple of gals. watch and judge for yourself if it makes good sport on freeTV. CBS sports even added Ultimate Fighting to their website. This is how ESPiN developed so many sports like their poker card games. They show it on their channel and they hope the audience absorbs the sport.
