Tua should not even be a candidate after last night. The heisman should go to a player who if the team was without, the team would not be nearly as good. Tua goes down so what, the next guy is just as good. The team doesn’t miss a beat. Kyler Murray gets hurt, OU loses multiple games. Murray deserves the award.

As much as I like your theory. If Baker Mayfield had gone down last year, his back up would have been Murray. So in that theory Baker should not have won it last year. I will say though I think Baker and Murray both deserved it.
