So many great debates on here today, wondered what the take is on the Hiesman. I figured it was Tua's but with him throwing 2 ints before getting knocked out of the Georgia game, I think it's a lot more interesting. I have Murray, but im biased for big 12.

Tua should not even be a candidate after last night. The heisman should go to a player who if the team was without, the team would not be nearly as good. Tua goes down so what, the next guy is just as good. The team doesn’t miss a beat. Kyler Murray gets hurt, OU loses multiple games. Murray deserves the award.

Tua looked awful when he was playing yesterday. Kyler will win and should win. Remarkable year for a remarkable athlete.

Has any team ever had back to back Heisman winners? Especially at the same position. Kinda unreal if it happens.

Answered my own stupid question. Last back to back was USC leinhart and bush. Same position was OSU when Archie won 2 years in a row. Never same position but two different players from the same team.

I caught this at the end...the guy who announced the award flubbed Tua Tagovailoa's name something horrible...you'd think that's something he practiced.

When he did that it was pretty obvious Kyler had won. No way they put that guy out there without him knowing how to pronounce the winner's name. But shouldn't have someone out there that didn't know how to pronounce a finalist's name in the first place

Don't TV commentators spend the week practicing and getting to know players' names?

You'd think a guy could spend some time motor memorizing the name of 3 players.
