College in Yankton, SD - dropped out - hitch-hiked the USA for a year finally winding up in Nebraska.

SDSU is in Brookings; USD is in Vermillion. I'm guessing Cyclonelifer went to the now defunct Yankton College, a UCC church school my parents pushed unsuccessfully! It went bankrupt in the mid-1980's.

P.S. I've never lived in SD but used to travel it for work. I like SD, especially the Black Hills!
