I went to an event last week where someone brought "Vegetarian Crock Pot Taco Soup". I'm not a vegetarian, but it was really good. Make sure to add the tortilla chips, sour cream, and shreaded cheese when served. Will be making this on saturday.
Thinking about trying this smoked salmon with cream cheese that you just smoke all together to make a dip.
Walking Tacos and Catfish. we try to eat the mascot of whatever team we are playing. the new additions have made it hard as my wife won't let me fry up the cat.

In the new Big 12 we're basically eating small cats or big cats every other week. Bearcat isn't technically a cat but still.
I kid you not the Chinese restaurant in Grimes is right next door to a vet clinic... The people that run the place are very nice and heard nothing but good things about the place but just driving by that it's probably turns some heads because of the stereotype over the years that have become a joke.
For a while there was a Chinese spot out near the west Hyvee in Ames that wasn't far from a Vet's office.
