Going to the Texas Tech game any ideas of what to do on Friday???
Wineries with really good wine
They have some pretty cool fly over bridges. Buddy Holly museum. Lots of BBQ places. Seems a lot of new eating places are in the Southwest side of the city. If you get off the bypass that circles the city it is pretty darn desolate out there.
Pull a LE and take a case of natty light to a frat party.
Lubbock has some great live music venues. Not sure of your music taste but Ryan Bingham (One of my favorite) and Pat Green (way more to him than the Iowa Waive song) both play in town that weekend. Also several bars with local acts that do not disappoint.
Watch the game and leave
Drive over a fly over and look across the whole state
Take a selfie with a tumbleweed
They have one of the best dessert places I’ve ever been to. Can’t give you much more than that
what about tailgating
Sorry to tell you this, but we play West Virginia this weekend. Good luck killing time for a week in Lubbock!
Of course, I'm joking.
Glad you were joking didn't think it was funny as I know they play in West Virginia
Not a single bell ringing gif.
I’m planning on going to Lubbock as well. You hear people talk these places down but sometimes they aren’t so bad.
I think it will be fun
Ryan Bingham would be a sweet show to catch.
I Lubbock still in a dry county?
I think pretty much every college town has enough fun stuff going on to make a good weekend out of it. People that make fun of Lubbock, Ames, Manhattan, Morgantown, etc are either failing an attempt at being funny or are ignorant.
Watch out for Raider Rash.
Don't be a fool; wrap your tool.
