What are you drinking tonight?

What do we have here? I like the looks of it.
Spent 3 days in Dana Point, CA for my wife's work event. Extending the trip for a couple of days in Palm Springs. Stopped at Monkish and The Bruery on the way there. Monkish is all about great IPAs and Bruery about Stouts. Two great breweries just a few miles from each other and didn't have time to visit Bottle Logic, which is also legendary.

Nothing fancy like you all tonight, but some rum and coke mugs out on Welch, gotta get it in a couple more times before I graduate next week

That IPA looked fantastic.

It’s on my bucket list of beers. Did it live up to the hype?
I found a bunch of Pliny the Elder in Denver a few years back. You can imagine my excitement never having even seen it. Cracked one in the hotel and I didn't even like it lol. I'm not the world's biggest West Coast IPA guy but the West Coasts from Lua or Confluence would stomp it. Doesn't change that it's an OG in the beer world.

Just picked this up from Costco. Not bad for under $40. Slightly harsh up front (it is a highland after all) but surprisingly smooth finish. 1000002692.jpg
